It all starts with a conversation with Josh.  While everyone wants success and happiness, not everyone is ready for it.  It only takes a quick call to determine if you are ready, willing, and qualify for our program.

Escaping The Rat Race was designed to solve the most common challenges (excuses) that trap good people in the pointless, endless, self-defeating cycle of stress that we call the rat race.  Our rat race may be a sick body, a set of impoverishing beliefs, an unappreciative career, poor relationships, or just a depressing lack of real Freedom.

“I can’t afford to give up the safety and security of my current job to try something new.”

“Things are just too busy right now.”

“Even if I could, where would I start?”

“I can either love what I do OR make a lot of money.”

“More money, more problems.”

“I don’t want to be wealthy, I just want to be comfortable.”

“I’m not sure I’m cut out for it.”

If this sounds familiar, don’t worry – you’re not alone.  Our program and community is designed to help you dis-cover your purpose, monetize your passions, rewrite your life’s script, all while experiencing the true happiness of becoming the best version of yourself.

Will it be easy?  No.  Will it be worth it?  More than you can imagine.

What is your true purpose?

They say the two most important days your life are the day you’re born and the day you figure out why.

When you’re 100 years old, will you regret not giving yourself a real chance at ultimate success and true happiness?

Monetize your passion

Instead of doing what you hate to make enough money to spend on doing what you love, imagine getting paid more money for doing what you love.

  • You could keep doing what you’re doing, getting what you’re getting.
  • You could try another one of those motivational seminars, at $1,000-$10,000 that keeps you excited only until the parking lot.
  • You could spend years reading a bunch of books with great information and still have no idea how to implement them.
  • You could go back to school and spend $100k on yet another degree with no guarantee of career or financial success.
  • You could keep hunting for the next “safe/secure” job that still won’t pay you what you’re worth, only to be laid off yet again.

The Wealth and Happiness Relation

Happiness is the process of becoming the best version of yourself.  Wealth is the result of this process, in every area of life, including financial.

The Escaping The Rat Race Program is designed to help a person traverse stages 4 through 7 below in 100 days. Remember, it’s not the end.  It’s just the beginning. Let’s look at the process of escaping the rat race in terms of C.A.G.E. theory.

C.A.G.E. ⟿ Conditioned Abandonment of Greatness Eternal

See if any of it feels familiar…

Stage 1 - Born Free

We’re born free.  More to the point, we’re born for success and with a strong connection to nature and our creator.  Have you ever noticed how every trait with which we start life are the same traits that winners, successful, and wealthy have today? These traits include:

  • Sense of urgency
  • Creativity
  • Relentless
  • Relationship building
  • Positivity
  • Expectation of success
  • Dreaming big
Breaking Our Will

The closest most people come to being successful is the day they were born.  From there, we are conditioned and trained with old beliefs, poor mindset, and a host of myths and lies that mislead and sedate us.  They break our will and we go from omnipotent to obedient.

Stage 2 - Creating the Cage

Upon breaking our will, we begin to form our cage.  Our cage may be physical, mental, emotional, and/or spiritual.  Within our cage, we find our “comfort zone.”  We do what we’re told to do like get good grades, get a degree, get a safe/secure job, as if that were the secret to success.

We believe the delusion that this is the meaning of our life, yet we’re really just there for others’ amusement – a puppet of the powerful, the marketers, the influencers. We may even become numb to the constraint and apathy of a routine life.  We fill our time with disserving habits and countless distractions.

The Wake-Up Call

Then we get a wake-up call.  An emergency we can’t handle.  Lose our safe/secure job. A dream that was just proven to never come true if we keep doing what we’re doing.  All the promises and “good advice” start to crumble under the weight of truth and nature’s reality.

Stage 3 - Trapped

Like any caged animal that wants to be free, we become stressed, angry, frustrated.  We may  also become disillusioned and depressed, falling into “What’s the use?” syndrome.

In our panic, we try anything and everything – from medications that addict us to student loans and credit card debt that drown us to every get-rich-quick scheme in the book that never pays us.  We even spend thousands of dollars on Disney vacations that promise to make us happy.

In the end, all we do is play further into the trap of marketing and guaranteed-to-fail systems. It’s an endless, pointless, self-defeating cycle…by design!

☆Breaking The Cycle☆

Most people form a cycle between stage 2 and 3 – their cage gets rattled and they get upset, frustrated, stressed, and even depressed.

Then their employer, targeted marketing, or broke friends and family pacifies them enough to settle back down in the cage.  “Don’t make such a ruckus.  You’re lucky to be where you are”, they’re told.

Back on the wheel they go until the next wake up call…and then the next…and the next.  This goes on until they die.

If you’re in stage 2 or 3, I’ve got good news.  This doesn’t have to be the end. There is a next stage, a way out.  There is more to life. I think you know this – you see signs of success but maybe you wonder how people get there.

It requires a process of unlocking ourselves.  Unlocking the cage that we’ve created.  This is the first set of modules in the Escape the Rat Race Program.

Stage 4 - Unlocking Ourselves

We unlock ourselves – with the help of a mentor, coach, good friend, kind soul.  We find a way to break the old paradigm. We come to an awareness that we have the key to our cage and had it all along.

Through the process of unlocking ourselves, we begin to unlearn the bad habits and impoverishing beliefs, undo the damage that was done, forgive ourselves and others for the past.

We also bust the myths and lies, creating beliefs that serve us instead of obeying those that don’t.  Ultimately, we forget how to lose and remember our success traits once again.

Stage 5 - An Exit Strategy

We’re not ready to leave the cage just yet.  We must create a new strategy, a true exit strategy, one for success to build things the right way.  We begin to define what we are, who we will become, and how we will add value to the world.  We walk with our heads higher, our hearts fuller, and our minds clearer as we:

  • Learn to follow our passion to create money, not follow the money to pay for passion.
  • Begin to design our future, not dwell on the past.
  • Create a plan for success in life like we planned our last vacation.
  • Share our talents and skills, not shy away from them.
  • Go from a pointless life to one of purpose.
  • Go from endless activity to exciting progression.
  • Close our eyes and see the future with clarity of vision.
Stage 6 - Mental Toughness

Once we step out, we realize that we’re free…to succeed or fail.  It’s now up to us.  We must overcome our fear of success, cleverly disguised as a fear of failure.  The world now demands that we grow as a person.  Life will only bestow as much wealth as we can handle, but no more.

We may still surrounded by other people in their cages who may be envious, upset, and/or jealous of our freedom.  We learn compassion for them as we develop our relentless pursuit of success.  We know that everyone will be better off if we succeed.

We become mentally tough, competent, confident, and convicted in our mission. We no longer are concerned with life’s circumstances as we can handle anything, create anything, and become the person we were meant to become.  We may get a little beat up, but we’ll grow and learn from it.  We must, for the alternative is returning to rotting in a cage.

Stage 7 - Personal Manifesto

We declare our intentions to the world and ourselves in the form of a personal manifesto. We not only have the itinerary for our life but we have the confidence and conviction to put it into action.  We know exactly why we wake up each morning and we’re excited to invest our time into such a worthy cause.

Our vision crystallizes. We take control of our script in life and write it the way we’ve always dreamed.  As the main character in our own movie of life, we orchestrate an amazing and fulfilling production that we would be proud to share.

Stage 8 - Self-Actualization

We embrace challenges and demand the proper rewards for our efforts. We are grateful every day and are in a position (mentally, spiritually, financially, emotionally, physically) to help others with their cages.  Life is now about contribution, love, appreciation, fulfillment, joy, and legacy.  We find that happiness is now a state of being, not something we feel, but something we are.

Are we done?  NO, quite the opposite.  We’re just getting started!

The good news is that we are finally on our way to becoming the best version of ourselves.  And this, my friends, is the meaning of life.

Absolutely not.  I’m asking you if your job is the long-term answer to what you want in life.  If not, other than starting to build something for yourself on the side, how do you propose to ever get there?

I completely understand.  For years I would only look at the cost of things and use that to determine what I did and didn’t do.  Then I realized that I was operating in a poverty mindset.  That if something was necessary and worth it, I always seemed to find the money.  Warren Buffet, one of the most successful investors of all time, said, “The best investment you can make is in yourself.”

The question isn’t a matter of affording it, rather whether you feel you are worth the investment if it means a level of happiness, success, and money that you’ve never experienced before.  If that still seems too ethereal, consider the cost of NOT becoming the person you were meant to become.  What is the continued stress, fear, doubt, and worry costing you in terms of income, family time, and happiness?

Not necessarily. Escaping the rat race doesn’t mean you have to start your own business.   It’s about finding and doing work that leverages your strengths, passions and who you are as a person, so you can start doing work that matters to you and to the world. That might mean working as an employee in a 10,000-person company or starting your own business. You get to decide.

You have a golden opportunity right now.  You can spend your time (actually, life) doing what you’re doing and getting what you’re getting, or you can invest your time into something that will provide an incredible return on your investment.  By the way, it’s not forever.  Would it be worth sacrificing in the short-term for permanent gain?

There is no option within this course in which you are on your own.  There will always be weekly Master Accountability calls with others going through the same journey as you.  Email access to Josh and our private Facebook group is always part of the program.  After all, the course is designed to leverage the ideas, wisdom, and support of others. Plus, you always have the option to add on additional 1-on-1 coaching calls which are especially beneficial to accelerate your success.

Absolutely.  Our calls are on a platform called Zoom, which is as easy as using a simple app on your phone or your web browser with one click.  The videos will play in any browser or phone and are in a easy-to-navigate system along with links to any documents or tools you need right there under the video itself.  Any additional assistance you need on the tech side will be provided.

The course is designed to take 100 days at a reasonable, unhurried self-pace.  Some do finish the course sooner and can use the extra time to refine their manifesto, create a plan of action for their next steps, and support others who are still working through the program.  There are options to extend the time through coaching session with Josh, but there is no option to let you fail.

From the beginning, we will enter a joint contract in which we will commit to providing everything you need to work through the various stages of escaping the rat race.  Your commitment is to be coachable and to commit to taking action and meeting us halfway.  We can’t do all the work and discovery for you.  However, if you meet us halfway, we’ll take you the rest of the way.

That being said, if you put in the work and go through the process, we are confident you will unlock yourself from your cage, have a specific and actionable exit strategy from that cage, and have clarity on how you will proceed to win the rest of your life  But if for any reason you don’t gain value from this program, just shoot us an email at: and we will provide you personal support and/or refund your purchase.
